Sunday School
"Seasons of the Spirit" is the exciting new curriculum being used by our children, ages 3 through grade 6. Sunday School takes place
during the 10:00 worship hour. The children go downstairs for classes following their participation in worship through the
children's sermon (about 20 minutes). This provides them the opportunity to spend the remainder of the hour learning about the day's Bible
story through activities and crafts that fit their developmental level.
Confirmation
Youth in 7th and 8th grades are encouraged to be involved in a process that leads to first communion and full membership
in the church. This is accomplished through many experiences over a two year period, including classes with the minister,
intergenerational sessions that focus on contemporary issues, community service projects, and a mentoring program.
Vacation Bible School
Every summer, St. Peter's offers a fun week of learning for Sunday School aged children around a Biblical theme.
The five evening sessions are often held during a week in June, and is open to all children of the community.
Youth Group
Young people between the ages of 11-17 have many opportunities
for fun and community service. Activities include a Halloween
party, a Winter Ski Retreat, a Super Bowl hoagie sale, and participation in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Older
youth may also participate in a week-long summer Mission Trip.
